Friday, September 28th, 2012

San Bruno, CA (PRWEB) September 27, 2012

New research shows that being comfortable while traveling is a top priority among business travelers. The most common complaint from 32 percent of business travelers is that they sometimes miss their normal routine, results from a recent eRewards Opinion Panel survey states. Thirty-four percent of those surveyed said being away from home was the most difficult part of business travel. But there is lots that can be done to make life on the road more comfortable, according to Tim Gibson, a spokesman for Alpha Flight Guru, a travel agency that specializes in helping travelers redeem credit card points and frequent flier miles for discount business class tickets.

Regularly traveling for business can take its toll on people, Gibson said. Business flights are one way to help make a trip more comfortable and productive for employees while they are away from home. Many companies dont think they have the budget for business class, but with smart planning there are a variety of options to save.

Alpha Flight Guru has released a white paper that shows businesses the best ways to earn and redeem frequent flier miles. The paper can be downloaded for free at alphaflightguru.com/cfo and CFO.com. The paper outlines a four-step process for choosing the best credit cards based on business spending and where employees travel most.

With over $ 50 billion in rewards points and miles being given away by the airlines and hotels each year, smart businesses should be taking advantage of the opportunity to save as much as 5 percent on travel spending, Gibson said. Flying business and first class not only makes travel more comfortable, but also offers the highest return value on rewards points.
