NYC-Based Education Nonprofit The LAMP Launches Media Breaker

Bielat Santore & Company – Eye On The Shore

It is hard to believe that this month will mark the one year anniversary of when Hurricane Sandy ravaged the east coast plummeting through most of the Jersey Shore. This is a rain or shine event.

The potluck dinner will be very low key, inviting Sea Bright families to come and interact with others who were devastated by the storm. All who attend are asked to bring dishware, food and drinks to share, and later in the evening a bonfire will be lit on the beach behind the firehouse in town. Local artist Megan Gilhool will also provide a Hope Canvas encouraging guests to write messages or drawings. This canvas will eventually be displayed in the towns community center. The purpose for the event is to embody the towns unity while at the same time recognizing that there are still people displaced from their homes and/or businesses.
